Our Quality Process

We are one of the renowned BIM companies in India working on multi domain projects, such as residential, commercial, institutional and retail. We cater our clients with BIM 3D Modeling, architectural Modeling services, MEP Modeling and coordination services, clash detection and resolutions services and other pre-construction services.

At Excelize, we implement stringent measures to ensure high quality output like other BIM companies. We believe that quality plays the most crucial role in client retention for BIM companies. The process chart below emphasis on our quality process and the controls implemented.


Stage -1 – Self QC by team members:

  1. It is a primary requirement for the team to use checklist while building the model. After the Modeling task at that stage is complete, the team shall check the model once again against the checklist used, to ensure nothing is left out while Modeling.
  2. The model is then checked against the drawing input, grids & levels. Team Member assures that the data inserted in the model are up to the mark or not and thus highlights the data which are not clear or incomplete.
  3. In complex projects a peer review is done by the team member from different project. This will be done at delivery stage for a milestone.
  4. After the self-QC/peer review is done, the model shall be fixed for errors/mistakes if found and forwarded for Team leader/project leader’s review.

Stage -2 – Self QC by team leader:

  1. The team leader shall check the model one more time against the checklists.
  2. Other than this the model shall be checked visually for following things:
    1. Correct components used and families
    2. Visual check for correctness, overlaps, internal clashes, accuracy design, etc.
    3. Grids & levels.
    4. LOD
  3. The model shall be checked against the client’s data input, latest design, most current drawings received by clients, completeness in terms of scope.

Stage -3 – QA/QC by Project Manager:

  1. The Project Manager shall check the model visually for:
    1. Correctness of model building
    2. Interdisciplinary check
    3. Client’s data and latest design inputs
    4. Provide feedback based upon experience & knowledge.
  • PM shall check the model against client deliverables, overall project design, construction readiness, etc.
