The BIM Team Behind More Than 2,500 U.S. Construction Projects Since 2004

Firms that started with a single BIM project in 2004 are still working with Excelize today, because the same team that earned trust once keeps earning it project after project.

Our Story

2004The Problem

A gap U.S. AEC firms could not staff their way out of

Excelize started in 2004 with a simple problem to solve. American architecture, engineering, and construction firms needed BIM expertise, and building that expertise in-house took time, budget, and technical hiring most firms could not spare.

The ModelOne Team, Two Countries

One team, two countries

Two decades later, the model has scaled, but the premise has not changed. Excelize pairs U.S.-based leadership and account management, run from offices in New Jersey and California, with a dedicated BIM delivery team based in India, trained specifically for American project standards.

The ResultAccountability + Scale

Accountability + scale

Clients get the responsiveness and accountability of a domestic partner, backed by the production scale of a delivery bench built over more than two decades.

Today2,500+ Projects

2,500+ projects since 2004

That combination, onshore presence paired with offshore scale, is why general contractors, architecture firms, MEPF engineering firms, and trade subcontractors and fabricators have relied on Excelize for more than 2,500 projects since 2004.

Delivery Model

What makes our delivery model different

Most firms comparing BIM partners are really comparing two different offers. One is straightforward production: a team that models, coordinates, and delivers to spec. The other is an operating model: how that team is trained, managed, and integrated with the client’s own staff.

Excelize is built to compete on both. Every engagement starts with a defined scope, a named point of contact, and a documented BIM Execution Plan. From there, clients choose how close the collaboration runs, from a defined production engagement to a fully embedded VDC bench that functions as an extension of their own team, with the same reporting lines, meeting cadence, and QA/QC’d deliverables they would expect from an in-house department.

For firms weighing whether to eventually build their own offshore capability, Excelize’s transition support and governance model give them a way to test the structure first and decide later if a captive team makes sense.

Defined scope

Every engagement starts with a clearly defined scope, so both sides know exactly what is being delivered.

Named point of contact

One accountable person owns the relationship, not a rotating queue.

Documented BIM Execution Plan

A written BEP sets standards, deliverables, and QA/QC’d checkpoints before production begins.

What we value in how we work.

01

We Build for What Comes Next in BIM

BIM standards, LOD requirements, and coordination workflows change every few years. Teams that stop learning start producing outdated deliverables. Excelize invests in training and workflow updates continuously, so clients are not the ones absorbing the cost of a stale process.

03

We Train Talent to U.S. Production Standards

Every team member working on a U.S. project is trained against the modeling conventions, LOD expectations, and QA/QC’d review process American AEC firms use, not a generic international standard.

02

We Show Up When the Deadline Is Real

A missed submission date can mean a delayed permit, a lost bid, or a GMP that slips. Excelize’s delivery teams are structured around U.S. project calendars and client time zones, not around convenience.

04

We Build Teams That Reflect Every Project’s Needs

No two clients need the same mix of disciplines, tools, or team size. Excelize staffs each engagement around the specific project type, from healthcare to hospitality to datacenter work, rather than assigning a standard team regardless of fit.

Beyond Buildings

Beyond buildings: how our India team gives back

Excelize’s India-based delivery team is rooted in the communities where its people live and work, not just the projects they deliver.

Past initiatives include supporting wildlife conservation through a water-access project for a forest habitat in Maharashtra, and providing direct financial assistance to a team member’s family during a medical crisis.

These efforts are ongoing and grow alongside the company.
